These are the women that I believe we're killed by Peter tobin. (He has said in jail he killed 48 women but we can't totally be live that as it would be difficult to remember killing that many people. I have based my list on the following details:- He liked young women between 16 and 30 years old. Where he went on holiday (usually norfolk), his modus operandi (strangulation and rape) and his place of residence at the times mentioned. He also used 120 cars from 1969-1994/2004-2006. The bible John murders I have not included.
1970 (lived in brighton) Jacqueline lamb-18y/o-M6 cheshire Barbara mayo-24y/o M1 Derbyshire 1974 Pamela exall-22y/o Norfolk 1980 Jessie earl-22y/o (killed in Eastbourne, found in Norfolk, 1989) 1988 Louise Kay-18y/o Eastbourne (tobin worked in hotel just down the road) 1991 (lived in bathgate) Sharon Tyler- kings Lynn Wendy gallagher 24 y/o Barnsley Janine Downes 22y/o A464 Shropshire 1992 (lived at 50 irvine Dr margate) Natalie Pearman 16y/o ringland hills, Norwich Jo ramsden 21y/o bridport, dorset
(1994-2004, was in prison)
2005 (lived in paisley, scotland) Caroline McLean 28y/o Glasgow Emma Caldwell27y/o bigger,Sth lanarks
Detectives found out that he used/owned 120 cars (mainly blue in colour, including an Austin metro and Ford Sierra) in a total of 18 years. He used prostitutes. He worked in hotels, as a handyman and a chauffeur for paedophiles.

He was ruled out of Pamela Exall's disappearance though her parents weren't sure if some jewellry found in Tobin's posesion was hers.

The difficult thing about Tobin is he is an opportunistic/chance killer. If he is in the mood to kill and sees an opportunity (victim at bus stop/ hitchhiking etc) then he will act. Even after mapping out what is know about his life, including work, addresses and his cars, the only way to predict possible victims is where he frequented, regularly drove his car or his m.o.

Yes and he's saying nothing. He has cancer and time is running out for him to make a full confession. It's also unlikely he will confess to anymore murders just to make it even worse for the families of unsolved killings & disappearances

To find more things out about Tobin there needs to be more work such as finding neighbours from past electoral registers and work colleagues. Im sure more can be done but im not a detective, though i would do the investigation for free.

A few years ago the police ran Operation Anagram to see if any more murders were linked to him and if his haul of jewellry could be rcognised. I don't think anything came of it though
