I have added a few changes on the site and forum, mainly points 6 and 7.
6) Please do not use this forum to suggest monir unimportant changes to content on the sites, only important imformation. If you are unsure whether your rquest of information correction is importnat, then it probably isn't important. However, you are free to communicate amonst yourselves other wise.
7) This is a serious form and I request that all people treat it as such. This means I don not want to see trivial matters raised or speculation.
Essentially I am not available for minor edits or updates that are not important, this should be quite clear. This is not a wiki site and not a communal venture and my time is is limited.
This is intended for communications that are in some way directed at me with some 'call to action'.
You are welcome to chat amongst yourselves but there is a growing sense that people think they can notify my of any change they see needing doing and I need that to stop.
This forum is mainly here so that people with 'important' matters can broach them, that includes legally sensitive statements, ie where I have got something wrong and it needs updating because someone is effected. There is also the fact that serious information might be communicated via this form, inparticualr on the matter of unsolved cses and as such I need to be vigilent but I dont want to be constantly trying to interpret someones extended homework or family geneology findings.
Further, I need to maintain the a degree of seriousness for numerous reaons and this precludes threads on speculation, theories or sensationalistic material, in particualr the topic of serial killers.
Most of the posters here are quite OK and I encourage people to utilise the forum for their own use whilst observing these rules.
I dont intend to delete anything at th emoment but I will be leveraging these changes to keep the forum in order in the future by deleting anything that I feel fails to meet these guidelines in this envirnoment and also going back and delting anything that also doesn't meet these guidelines.
