Larry Burt from Ramsgate in Kent, worked as a Quality Assurance Officer, Part of his job was to test products before they were sent out to clients. Larry was also a branch officer of the red cross and twice a year led courses in First Aid. On his way to the train station he stopped on his bike to talk to his friends. He had an interest in Art and Birdwatching. On Saturday the 26th of February 1994, Larry boarded the 09:52am train from Thompson Park to London Victoria. He bought a train ticket which a cheap day return ticket so his intention was to return the same day. This ticket cost him approximately £15.70. It is not known where in London Larry meant to visit. 20 minutes later same guard on the train Ian Williams saw someone sitting opposite Larry, this person was Female. The Female in question had a five day return London to Whitstable. Larry was the sort of person who might have started a conversation with a stranger. Larry visited London every 2 months but from here it is all conjuncture, he probably cycled from Victoria out towards the east end, in the past he talked about visiting st Katherine's dock, another of his interests was Boats and chandlery. He was cycling around Wapping in the afternoon of the 26th. In Wapping high street is the Town of Ramsgate pub. Larry may have visited here in the past, Larry had binoculars for birdwatching and was a keen photographer. He was by the river at st Katherine's dock with his sketchpad, camera and binoculars. At 5pm Larry's body was found in the river at Wapping

His friends are not seen as suspects in this case although I understand.
