Hi I'm wondering if anyone else knows about this case, It has took some digging to find, It happened in my home town of Redcar back in 1992, It has been niggling in the back of my mind because I vaguely remember it when I would have been 14 year old at the time, I finally found something on it but not a lot and only because there was a service held for the victim Elizabeth jennison on the 10 year anniversary of her death. The perpetrator was her husband Colin jennison who astonishingly only served a 12 month sentence for it! The other thing I found was mo mowlam who was the Labour candidate for Redcar at the time was part of a petition to protest this lenient sentence in the house of commons. www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/news/7070600.service-honours-murder-victim/publications.parliament.uk/pa/cm199293/cmhansrd/1993-05-04/Debate-21.html
